Joshua Landry also know as “Money Boy” is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana so you know his southern draw, experience, and lyrics stay on point. He wrote his first song at 10 which only inspired him to keep pushing starting his passion for music.
From a 7th grade talent show, Money Boy received his name after throwing money in the auditorium. When asked about his songwriting inspiration and his process he replied, “I study other artist. I grew up listening to Tupac, Cash Money Records, No Limit Records, and local artist like Boosie and C-Loc. They are from the same neighborhood as me so they speak about what I see and live everyday.
