October is the month for playing dress up with your LO, Saturday we visited the Yule Forest Pumpkin Patch and had a blast! Yule Forest Pumpkin Patch offers a great variety for kids 5 and under. They offer hay maze, hayride, petting zoo, fun zone, puppet show, and more.
With my sweet little baby, we were able to take a hayride, visit the petting zoo, and visit the fun zone jumping center. The day was already going to be special with Baby Ava and her mother Kimberly, Bentley and his stepmother Kristina, Aunt Maggie and Samira, and Baby Attiyah and mother Roza. Play dates are always draining yet so much fun for the toddlers. It gives them interaction with other children and also, they run away hapless enjoying their friends, food, and imagination.
Children under 2 were free and guest 3 & up only $10. You cannot beat that and it comes with a free mini pumpkin. I was going to try to carve the pumpkin, but that’s just way too advanced for a toddler that’s twenty-one-month sassy baby girl. It was a warmer day than expected so we started right with candy apples and swings. We also doubled up on water for this busy day.
The children rode the hayride and enjoyed the many characters such as Dora the Explorer, Disney princesses, and Pixar favorite. The ride was basic but the kids loved the characters and the music that plays and the final destination the petting zoo. The petting zoo was filled with goats, chickens, ponies, llamas, and a rooster. Jaslyn was able to feed the goats but other than that there wasn’t much to pet as the kids weren’t allowed near the animals pass putting their hands in between the gate.
It was a great time for Jaslyn. She’s learning who she is, who her friends are, what she likes and dislikes, and finding her independence via socializing during playdates. I felt that without having another child and without daycare, Jaslyn needed interaction so I’ve been on a mission to introduce painting, park play, jumping, leaping, animals, and learning on the weekends. It has been such a success. My daughter’s vocabulary has been grown immensely and she’s always open to hug and kiss her friends.
All in all, the toddlers were able to cop a pumpkin or two, treats, be with friends, jump around, and we even took them to Chik-Fil-A as well to play in the playroom after eating a great meal.
We are making a MASSIVE comeback and I would love to have you follow along again. Let us know what you want to read on the blog!
