A Day in the Life of a Blogger/Entrepreneur/Full Time Worker
Every day, I wake up and I’m ready to go and get it! By get it, I mean, I have to hustle and make sure that I make my dreams come true. I have a full time job, I just finished being a full time Master’s student, and while doing all of this, I run an entire blog entitled Pardon My Audacity.
Why do I do it? It’s quite simple. I want to build an empire, a legacy for my unborn child, and I want to show myself that these years of schooling was all worth it. I want to be someone and not just a “sayer” but a “doer.” These days it’s easy to give up and do what everyone wants you to do but it’s hard to step out on faith and hustle.
My daily hustle starts at 6 in the morning. I dress for the day, load my car, and beat my face before hitting the road to my full time job. While every other customer service reps are answering phones, I am editing my contributor’s articles, laying in pictures and videos, and writing my own articles to post throughout the week. It’s hard work, but I have to do it.
That’s why having the assistance of VitaminWater throughout my day is helpful. They always are delicious, cold, and gives me a little boost. When I complete laying in articles, I usually start tackling my manuscript for class. I’m racking my brain to edit, submitting to the tutor departments, and making sure that I’m not missing class discussions or group work.
Five pm rolls around and I’m leaving my 9-5 to five for the gym, business meetings, and interviews for the blog. Every aspect of my hustle is about staying grounded, branding Pardon My Audacity, and enjoying the hustle. You have to ENJOY your hustle, HYDRATE your hustle, and ROCK your hustle while you are grinding it out.
Vitamin Water created the crowd-funding inspired program to bring “hydrate the hustle” to life for fans helping them continue to chase their dreams. They have invited aspiring entrepreneurs, artists, dreamers, and film directors to create an elevator pitch to submit to www.projecthustle.com for the chance to become a finalist. Securing these funds for theses hustlers help bring their projects to life. But what is even better than this opportunity is it’s now opening it up to the public and asking to help decide which of these 10 finalist will have their projects funded.
VitaminWater and Vitaminwater zero caps have codes for participants to use. People have the power to distribute virtual funds to one of the 10 finalists’ projects. It’s such a dope campaign that so many people need to hear about and hopefully participate in.
It’s a great thing to see that everyone is out here hustling and trying to follow their dreams. I wish you all the best of luck, but this 9-5 is demanding my time so besos Divas and Divos!
