PMA spills the tea with Tupac entering the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Beyonce is being sued for using the Roc-A-Fella logo in “Drunk in Love” video.
Tupac Shakur was named as a nominee for the 2017 class of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with many other artists.
Tuesday, it was announced by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame that the deceased rapper would be one of the five inductees for 2017.
In 91′, he released his debut album “2Pacalypse Now,” and later released “Me Against The World,” and fan favorite “All Eyez On Me” before his death in 1996.
According to The Shade Room, other 2017 inductees include, Pearl Jam, Journey, Yes, Electric Light Orchestra and Joan Baez.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on April 7th at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, and will air at a later date on HBO, along with a radio broadcast for Sirius XM.
Beyonce added the Roc-A-Fella logo slapped onto one of her music videos and it was apparently wrong.
According to TMZ, Dwayne Walker says Queen B never asked permission to prominently display the logo in B’s “Drunk in Love” music video … and now he wants the court to put a stop to it and cut him a slice of the profits.
Dwayne says he owns the rights to the original Roc-A-Fella logo and it shouldn’t have been used in her music vid.
It’s also worth noting Dwayne sued Jay for $7 million over the logo but lost the case back in September.
How crazy is that? Petty maybe?
Tupac is finally reaching the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Beyonce is being sued again. Lord, it’s always something!
